Located in the Bowery in Manhattan, the New Museum is a contemporary art museum dedicated to championing what is new, new art, new voices, and new ideas. This independent branding project responds to the museum’s upcoming expansion and is designed to re-energize the community ahead of its reopening in 2026.

The identity is built around a flexible variable typeface, allowing the logo to adapt across the wide range of programming the museum offers.
